Collage is an artistic composition made of varius materials (as paper, photographs, sand or straw) glued on a surface often combined with a drawing or painting. The technique was first used by the Cubists. The first collages were made in the sutdiors of Georges Braque and Pable Picasso. Nowadays collage is often used in applied art and advertising.
