Mini travel version of Quarto

Designed by French game company Gigamic, Quarto truly is a beautiful game not just because it is All Wood, nor because of the excellent craftsmanship, but because of the unique design and unusual game play

Each of the 16 pieces has 4 of a possible 8 attributes (dark or light, round or square, tall or short, solid or hollow). The aim is to line up 4 pieces which all share at least 1 of the total possible 8 attributes.

But here is where the real fun starts - you can't choose which piece you're going to play - instead, your opponent chooses the piece (any piece as all pieces are available to both players) for you and then you place it on the board.

The player who places the winning piece wins...but only if they realise and call out "Quarto" before handing the next piece to their opponent to play.

This is a fantastic strategy game and an attractive display piece.
