The 'Tantrix' story starts with a small collection of puzzles called 'Tantrix Discovery'.
Tantrix Discovery comes in 4 different styles based on a combination of the colour of the tiles (Green or Black) and the type of packaging (Wood Stand or Mesh Travel Bag).
- Tantrix Discovery - Black In Mesh Bag includes 10 Black Tantrix Discovery Tiles and is packaged in a handy mesh bag, designed to be travel-friendly to keep the family entertained on those short or long trips.
Tantrix Discovery is a collection of puzzles for 1 or a group to solve using the 10 tiles to form closed loops of a particular colour.
- Starting with tiles numbered 1, 2 and 3, form a closed YELLOW loop (the tiles are engraved on the back with a number and the third tile is YELLOW).
- Once solved, continue by adding the next tile in sequence (number 4 in this instance) and form a loop in the colour of the ‘4’ on the back of the tile (in this case it is RED). As you add each additional tile the puzzles become larger and more difficult.
- Once you have solved the final puzzle, most people still find that because of the number of tiles it is often difficult to remember the solution to each puzzle, so you can play time and time again
Discovery is also infinite, so you can continue to add sets to progressively increase the level of difficulty and number of puzzles.
