Pentago
Pentago was invented in Sweden and was introduced to the market in 2004 as a stylish wooden game by Mindtwister, a company setup solely to develop and market Pentago.
In 2006, Mindtwister released their now internationally acclaimed and awarded 2-player game Pentago Mechanic cleverly designed with moving quadrants to rotate freely while remaining attached to the playing board.
After perfecting Pentago mechanic in 2006, the Swedes needed another even bigger challenge - how to make a single playing board of 9 freely revolving quadrants to enable the whole family to play together. With typical Swedish ingenuity, in 2009 Pentago Multiplayer was born with a svelt design that would be as much at home in a modern art museum as it is on the games table at your place.
Pentago Birch, Pentago Mechanic and Pentago Multiplayer are destined to become modern classics and you can be sure that the story doesn't end there.
So what's the next challenge...keep an eye out for a completely new game concept, Colorio, coming in 2010 along with the return of the best-selling Abalone which is now a part of the Mindtwister stable.
