Gen 42 Games is a UK based games company established in 2002 by John Yianni, the inventor of the much renowned 'Hive®' game. John, through Gen 42, is committed to bringing back the sense of excitement and adventure we all felt when playing games as kids. 

John loved to design and make games from a young age which he played with family and friends. It was not until he came up with the idea for the amazing 'Hive®' game, that he then started Gen 42 Games and took his passion to another level and he has since added "Army of Frogs" and more recently "Logan Stones - The Rock, Paper, Scissors Game" to his colellection of unique hexagonal tile games without a board.

Gen 42 Games is now internationally recognised with 'Hive®' becoming not only a Mensa awarded game but also a "Dr Toy - Smart Toy" award-winner for its simplicity of rules but chess-like strategy. And 'Hive®' is now an online game with a huge following.
